  • Marketing Content Assistant

    ICON Technologies Limited, is a privately held corporation and started operations in 1998.     ICON is a growing company with a strong, vibrant future. We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Content Assistant. The right candidate will be motivated, naturally pleasant and friendly, with a commitment to "family" values and collaboration. This is a team environment with a collective focus on serving our customers and supporting each other to that end.

    The primary responsibility of the marketing content assistant will be to plan, coordinate and execute the production of creative materials and video, content such as ecommerce product listings, advertisements, catalogues, and other marketing collateral. Tasks will also include post-processing of product photography and onboarding products onto ecommerce web platforms.

    Required qualifications, previous training and skills include, but not limited to:

    • Creativity
    • An excellent eye for detail, with strong analytical skills
    • Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Microsoft Suite of Products (i.e., Excel)
    • To ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
    • To prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications

    Knowledge and experience with the following are considered an asset:

    • Ecommerce software / marketplace experience
    • Knowledge of photography principles
    • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and the web

    This is a full-time permanent position. Applicants must be a post-secondary graduate, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada. Normal work hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.
